Tired of giving gift cards?
Mother’s Day is right around the corner.
So, whether you’re looking for a unique gift to give the mom in your life, or you want an answer to the dreaded question, “Honey, what do you want this year?”
Here’s a great place to look—
Introducing Hosanna Revival.
*First, I need to state clearly that I’m not making a penny from this recommendation. I’m not working with Hosanna Revival on this post. I’m simply sharing something I love.
Recently, someone gave me a Hosanna Revival 5-Year Prayer Journal, and I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve been working lately to cultivate a better, deeper habit of prayer, and this gift is the perfect way to see:
- prayers answered
- desires of my heart changed
- the ever-present hand of God in my life
Bonus: Can you imagine having access to 5 years of prayer requests from someone you love?
This journal contains 366 unprompted daily spreads with five entries per day to document my prayers over the next five years. With only 6 lines per day, brevity is my only (and wholly welcomed) option.
And, as the great infomercial salesman always says—
But wait, there’s more!
Hosanna Revival sells Bibles, journals, planners, and more.
I honestly think you could pick an item with your eyes closed and choose something the mom in your life would love.
He Who Promised Is Faithful
On the cover of my 5-year prayer journal are these 5 words: He Who Promised Is Faithful.
And I need this reminder. Here’s why—
1. In a single, terrible moment when everything reliable collapses, belonging to Christ is my greatest comfort. And turning to Him—again and again—is what eases the unbearable burdens that result from believing I can do any of this life in my own strength.
2. My faith flickers; His faithfulness doesn’t.
3. Trusting in God’s faithfulness is my greatest alternative to bitterness.
In my life, I have found that prayer often precedes belief. And so I’m looking forward to using this 5-year prayer journal to strengthen my faith and document my belief that God is good and only does good.
Hope you can find something equally helpful and beautiful from Hosanna Revival.
Happy early Mother’s Day!
